Following a triumphant sold-out performance at London’s Eventim Apollo in 2023, acclaimed Irish rock band The Saw Doctors are thrilled to announce their return to the iconic venue on Thursday, October 31st, 2024.

The eight-piece Saw Doctors will be hitting the road this summer for a packed schedule. The band's core songwriting duo, Davy Carton (lead vocals) and Leo Moran (electric guitar), will be joined by longtime members Rickie O’Neill (drums), Kieran Duddy (keyboards and accordion) and Tommy Carton (backing vocals). They'll also be welcoming back bassist Pearse Doherty, who brings his talents on bass guitar, wooden flute, and penny whistle. Rounding out the impressive lineup are acclaimed musicians Anthony Thistlethwaite (saxophone, formerly of The Waterboys) and Noelie McDonnell (guitar and backing vocals, The Whileaways).
The Saw Doctors’ expansive summer tour encompasses a total of fifteen shows across Europe and North America, including headline outdoor concerts at Manchester Castlefield Bowl (July 6th), New York City’s Central Park (July 17th), and Glasgow’s Kelvingrove Park (August 7th) with stops in Munich, Brussels, Cologne, Amsterdam, Boston, Chicago, Devon, Dublin, and two hometown gigs in Galway (July 27th & 28th).
The Saw Doctors have also unveiled their brand new single, “Man in the Moon,” which will be available on all platforms this Friday, May 24th. Written by Leo Moran, Davy Carton, and Padraig Stevens, the track was produced by Philip Tennant at Ireland’s Grouse Lodge Studios.
The Saw Doctors’ 2023 comeback tour, following a five-year hiatus, was a resounding success, marked by sold-out shows in London, Manchester, and a powerful performance at Ireland’s Electric Picnic festival.
