David Rudolf, the defence attorney in the infamous Michael Peterson case, will take part in a live discussion of the case at London Islington Assembly Hall on 16th October. It has recently garnered mass attention worldwide as it was the focal point of hit Netflix documentary series ‘The Staircase’, which left viewers gripping their seats in anticipation to find out really happened to Kathleen Peterson on 9th December 2001 and how their staircase became one of the most iconic pieces of evidence in recent true crime stories.

Rudolf, who studied at New York University School of Law in 1971, will open up on such topics as the struggles of the case including his internal conflict on whether to allow filmmakers to document his every move, as well as reveal his exclusive insights in intimate detail – including highly publicised Owl Theory which was not mentioned in the series but is now a widespread conspiracy.
