Florida’s ska/punk/pop pioneers Less Than Jake have announced a co-headline show at Manchester Academy alongside Southern Californian favourites, Reel Big Fish for February 2014.
Renowned for frantic live performances, Less Than Jake are as much a musical revelation now as they have always been, with seven full-length albums to date and a new record on the horizon.
"We have been lucky to have found a second home in the UK and now we get to enjoy it with our great friends in Reel Big Fish and Zebrahead!” says LTJ’s drummer, Vinnie Fiorello.
Constantly road-bound, Reel Big Fish released their seventh studio album, ‘Candy Coated Fury’ in 2012, an inspired and infectiously catchy return to the hyperkinetic ska and biting wit of the band’s beloved early albums, “doing what Reel Big Fish does best” said founding vocalist, guitarist and principal songwriter, Aaron Barrett; currently on the American leg of the Vans Warped Tour (summer 2013).
