General Purpose:

To join our busy finance team the successful applicant will need to be organised, enthusiastic and conscientious with good attention to detail and willing to help with any tasks required. The role will comprise mainly of expense processing and general ledger work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Processing reps expense sheets from shows. This will require a basic knowledge of reclaiming VAT on expenses.
  • Sales and purchase ledger processing.

Skills / Qualifications required:

  • Attention to detail, accuracy when processing and excellent numeracy skills are essential for the role.

General Purpose:

Working in a team of seven, the successful applicant for the role of Assistant Event Ticketing Manager will be an organised, enthusiastic, and conscientious all-rounder with great attention to detail and willing to help with anything and everything the busy ticketing department throws their way. We are looking for someone who has previous ticketing experience, is a reliable and trustworthy team player with a positive 'can do' attitude and who can effectively prioritise their workload whilst demonstrating absolute discretion towards confidential information.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist setting up SJM shows with venues and ticket agents
  • Managing & maintaining all aspects of ticketing on shows which range from small venues to stadiums
  • Assisting with on-sales
  • Collating ticket sales figures.
  • General ticketing admin

  • Provide additional departmental support as and when required which may include working out of hours.

Marketing Campaigns Manager

General Purpose:

To work as a part of our busy marketing team to maximise exposure of events promoted by SJM Concerts. To implement and manage marketing campaigns to generate sales for new tours and events via various platforms including digital, press, radio, TV, outdoor and print.

To be highly efficient, organised and enthusiastic, with an ability to thrive under pressure in a high-pressured environment - and a passion for the music industry is a must.

To market all events promoted by SJM Concerts in conjunction with the promoters and directors in a cost effective, efficient manner to the excellent first-class standards upon which SJM Concerts has built its reputation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Creating and managing effective and innovative marketing campaigns for SJM tours and events to the exceptional standard by which SJM is known.
  • Working closely with other members of the marketing, press and digital teams to ensure marketing campaigns are executed fully and effectively.
  • Coordinating the creation of tour artwork, video trailers and other marketing assets as required, and the process of getting assets approved with promoters, agents and management.
  • Liaising with partners and external agencies to coordinate and book digital, print outdoor, TV and radio advertising campaigns.
  • Agreeing media deals and contras with relevant event partners and sponsors for SJM tours and events.
  • Working with the SJM digital team to implement online marketing activity including social media announcements, sponsored posts & online ads including PPC, video pre-roll, audio & display.
  • Working alongside SJM's ticketing department and external partners to facilitate the setup of artist, venue and external pre-sales as required.
  • Liaising with venues, tickets agents, media partners & agents to ensure they have all essential materials for new event / tour announcements and maintaining correspondence throughout campaigns.
  • Being reactive to tours and events going on sale, and adapting marketing plans in real time as required in line with ticket sales / rate of sale and sales projections.
  • Monitoring and adhering to marketing budgets as agreed with the respective SJM promoter.
  • Working with the wider marketing team to oversee print distribution campaigns including hand to hand flyering, creating multi leaflets, organising door drops, poster runs and bespoke street marketing initiatives.
  • Offering creative ideas and suggestions for tour and event announcements and general marketing pushes as required.
  • Identifying and presenting new marketing trends to help develop the way shows and tours are marketed to relevant audiences.
  • To work out of hours as required, including on site at festivals and outdoor shows.
  • To fulfil any other duties as requested by the SJM Directors or the Head of Marketing & PR.

Skills / Qualifications required:

  • A suitable qualification and/or education to degree level is desired, and a minimum of 3 years marketing experience is required preferably in a music, live entertainment, creative arts, cultural or lifestyle position.
  • A confident, proactive individual with experience of working under pressure across multiple projects to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience and knowledge of all relevant marketing channels (including digital, social media, print, street-marketing, radio and TV) is highly desirable.
  • Experience of budget management and booking advertising that will offer an effective return on investment.
  • A strong passion, knowledge & understanding of the music / live events industry is essential.

Working with marketing campaign leads to help implement effective marketing campaign admin for SJM tours and events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working with members of the SJM marketing, PR and digital teams you will be responsible for the upkeep of general departmental admin.
  • Processing invoices by obtaining sign off from whoever booked the relevant spend, adding to the marketing invoice log sheet and liaising with the finance department to ensure payment is made accurately as required.
  • Working with the Head of Marketing & PR to update marketing logs, including campaign leads sheet, SJM on sales sheets, working from home & flexible hours sheet, venue contacts, creative contacts in addition to other key departmental documents as required.
  • Working with marketing campaign leads to create individual admin logs and check tour partners, including venues and ticket agents have announced new SJM tours and events as required and chasing outstanding partners to do so.
  • Liaising with marketing campaign leads and coordinating weekly catch ups with tour partners such as AMG, Ticketmaster and See Tickets to identify SJM events and tours that need significant attention.
  • Coordinating radio campaign admin, including updating and saving radio grids, contracts and audio adverts. Working with the ticketing department on fulfillment and distribution of agreed tickets, plus coordinating other prizes as required.
  • Booking and organising local street marketing initiatives as required by campaign leads including print distribution campaigns, hand to hand flyering, creating multi leaflets, organising door drops, poster runs and bespoke street marketing initiatives.
  • Proof reading tour adverts, press advert composite pages, multi-leaflets and other SJM marketing collateral as requested by the marketing and PR team members.
  • Assisting with the creation of bespoke artwork requests, tour and event artwork formats, ordering of print including posters and flyers at different specs for venue use.
  • Coordination of bespoke multi leaflets for multi-purpose use in different territories and the creation of artwork for use in venue leaflets as required.
  • Extracting marketing financial reports from Opera (SJM's accounting software) to share with marketing campaign leads as requested.
  • Offering creative ideas and suggestions for tour and event announcements and general marketing pushes as required.
  • Liaising with SJM reception to arrange stationary orders as required.
  • To work out of hours as required, including on site at festivals and outdoor shows.
  • To fulfil any other duties as requested by the Directors or the Head of Marketing & PR.

Skills / Qualifications required:

  • A suitable qualification and/or education to degree level is desired. Administrative experience is desirable, preferably in a music, live entertainment, creative arts, cultural or lifestyle position.

What we are looking for:

The successful applicant for the role of VIP Assistant will be an organised, enthusiastic and hard-working individual. Working as an assistant to the VIP department you would be responsible for the day to day administration of our exclusive VIP packages, as well as providing general office admin support.

The Role:

  • Updating and editing the VIP website www.sjm-vip.com
  • Check all the VIP packages are advertised correctly on other sites
  • Responding to VIP Customer correspondence including general enquiries and complaints
  • Liaising with ticket agents to distribute customer VIP package information and collate customer check-in lists.
  • Advancing tours with the hosting venues and the VIP on the road reps
  • Assisting with the ordering and distribution of merchandise
  • Inputting costs and managing budgets for each event
  • Customer service support for general enquiries
  • Managing the SJM-VIP social media platforms
  • General office admin support to all departments during busy periods as and when required
  • Occasional evening / weekend work required on site at events

Experience in a general accounts/finance role dealing with ledger processing is required.

Responsibilities:

  • Full responsibility for purchase ledger.
  • Invoice checking and processing, liaising with suppliers as required.
  • Costing analysis of invoices.
  • Twice weekly BACS runs.
  • Filing daily show settlements.
  • Assisting with all aspects of work within the finance department as required.
  • Managing invoices inbox.

Skills required:
