POND
UK tour announced for May/June 2017, including The O2 Forum, London
New album The Weather released May 5th via Marathon Artists
Having recently unveiled details of their incredible forthcoming album The Weather, Perth’s POND have announced a UK/EU tour taking place this May and June. The run of dates includes the band's biggest UK headline show to date, taking place at London’s The O2 Forum on June 16th. The tour announcement follows their intimate London show at The Moth Club, which takes place tonight and sold out in less than an hour.
See full list of UK/EU tour dates below. Tickets for all new dates go on sale this Friday 17th January at 9am.
The Weather, released May 5th via Marathon Artists (Courtney Barnett, Jagwar Ma), is the Australian psyche-pop quartets biggest statement of intent to date, featuring current single ‘Sweep Me Off My Feet’ - watch video now on YouTube. The band have also shared the video for the sprawling and foreboding album opener ‘30000 Megatons’; a synth-prog epic mirroring the escalating unease we all feel around the world right now. Watch on Youtube.
As with their acclaimed 2015 album Man It Feels Like Space Again, The Weather was produced by Kevin Parker at his studio in Perth and is an ambitious, technicolor odyssey, which truly feels like POND's coming of age. Preorder The Weather here.
