Last weekend, a year after his debut festival performance on Glastonbury’s BBC Introducing Stage, Ezra returned to headline the same tent to a capacity crowd, before a set on the John Peel Stage the following day which, according to festival organisers, brought in the most people for an afternoon gig on that stage ever. His debut album Wanted On Voyage was released the following day. Recorded late last year in Clapham with producer Cam Blackwood, Ezra plays guitar, bass and keyboards on the album. The record’s lead single Budapest is currently in the top 10 in 10 European countries and spending its third week in the UK top 5.
