APES UNVEIL OCTOBER UK TOUR DATES

Following the release of their acclaimed single ‘Pull The Trigger’, Australian rockers APES have announced details of their debut appearances in the UK, with a string of four special dates in October.

Starting on the first of the month at London’s famous Water Rats, the band will then play a short stint of headline shows, stopping off in Manchester.

This, the band’s first tour away from their home turf, precedes the release of their next single ‘Strange Tastes’, penned for release on the 3rd November.

The past twelve months, the band have concentrated on solidifying their fanbase, tailoring their sound, and honing their live show, and after a lot of hard work, the young quartet now feel more than ready to spread their wings, and bring their energetic performances across to foreign shores.

Heavy triple j (Australian National Youth Broadcaster) airplay, and Radio 1 support from the likes of Zane Lowe and Huw Stephens has seen their stars rise rapidly - as have impressive showings on the Big Day Out and Groovin' The Moo stages in Australia, plus dates with Kingswood, Stonefield, Dune Rats, Fidlar and Royal Blood.

Recently the lads killed it on tour nationally with Band Of Skulls, and sold out two single launch shows of their own in Sydney and Melbourne – no mean feat for a band still in their infancy stages. APES are the archetype of a young act with a bright future ahead of them, and no doubt the next 12 months will be extremely busy for this exciting new band.
