Due to extraordinary demand, Take That today added four brand new dates to their record-breaking Progress Live 2011 UK Tour presented by Samsung.

Friday 27 May 2011 Sunderland Stadium Of Light
Saturday 28 May 2011 Sunderland Stadium Of Light
Sunday 12 June 2011 Manchester Manchester City Stadium
Monday 4 July 2011 London Wembley Stadium

In order to accommodate an extra date at Wembley, it has been necessary to reschedule the planned show on Sunday 3rd July for Thursday 30th June. The promoters apologise for the inconvenience this may cause but tickets remain valid for customers who have already bought them for Sunday 3rd July. Anyone who cannot make the rescheduled date is eligible for a full refund from their point of purchase.

The band commented “We are really sorry to have to move the dates in London but we’d heard that there was a lot of disappointment from those not being able get tickets and this was the only way that we could fit in another show. We hope everyone understands and look forward to seeing you all next year.”

The extra date added at London’s Wembley Stadium see’s Take That break another record by becoming the only act ever to play eight dates at the Stadium, a previous record held by Michael Jackson who played seven nights on his 1988 Bad World Tour.

The new dates announced today will be the final dates added to the tour schedule.

Take That’s Progress Live 2011 tour became the biggest Tour in UK and Irish history when a record breaking 1.34 million tickets were snapped up in less than 24 hours. The band smashed their previous box office record set in 2008 with The Circus Live Tour more than doubling their own record for sales in a single day.

850,000 tickets went on sale at 9am on October 29, 2010 and throughout the day the band added a further 11 dates to the tour to cope with demand.
