TROYE SIVAN EMBARKS ON THE BLUE NEIGHBOURHOOD TOUR IN EUROPE APRIL + MAY 2016
Following the release of his debut album Blue Neighbourhood, Troye Sivan today announces the Blue Neighbourhood Tour commencing in Europe next April. Making nineteen stops across two months, the UK leg of Troye’s tour will see performances in London, Manchester, Glasgow and Birmingham. For full tour information, see below.
Troye Sivan’s debut album Blue Neighbourhood was released on Friday 4th December to worldwide critical acclaim. Here in the UK, Troye’s single ‘Wild’ has been lavished with attention at media including blanket coverage with the broadsheets and great support at Radio 1, Capital FM and Beats 1 to name a few. Across the pond, Troye will be making his television debut on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon on December 8th. Fascination with Troye’s story with the global media has lead to spreads with Paper, FADER, Dazed, i-D and massive support in his home country with the Guardian Australia giving his album a stellar five star review.
“It’s all autobiographical,” says Troye of Blue Neighbourhood. “It takes place in both the suburbs of Perth where I’ve grown up, which I consider to be my blue neighbourhood, but then also in this fast-paced, crazy, whirlwind life that I’m now living in hotel rooms and planes. And it takes place inside the mind of a 20-year-old kid. I wanted to make sure that youthfulness was there…”
