TWO DOOR CINEMA CLUB announce series of intimate album launch shows!

As the countdown continues to the release of the band’s highly anticipated new album ‘Beacon’ on 3rd September, Two Door Cinema Club announce a series of four consecutive intimate album launch shows to celebrate it’s release.

The band will kick off the run of shows in Birmingham at The Library on Tuesday 4th September before taking in Sound Control in Manchester on Wednesday 5th September, London’s Shepherd’s Bush Empire on Thursday 6th September and The Academy in Dublin on Friday 8th September.

Tickets will be available for general sale from 9am Friday 3rd August from:

Following the band’s crowd-pulling performance at T in the Park, last week saw lead-singer Alex Trimble sing live in front of over 1 billion people at the opening ceremony of London 2012 as the Olympic flame made it’s way into the stadium. The band are set to continue their festival season with big slots confirmed at Reading and Leeds on 24th/25th August and Bestival on 8th September.

The announcement of their eagerly awaited new album earlier this month resulted in the band trending worldwide on Twitter for six hours, their Facebook profile surpassing 1 million likes and the blog aggregator HypeMachine revealing they are the no.1 most talked about artist of the moment online. ‘Beacon’ will be released on 3rd September on Kitsune.
