Following the success of his latest album ‘Up & Away’ on the iTunes Hip Hop Chart, Rapper/Producer/Songwriter/ Tattoo Aficionado; Kid Ink has announced his debut UK tour for September 2012.
Covered from head to toe in tattoos, 24 year old Los Angeles based rapper Kid Ink is wrecking havoc on the streets and in cyber world. Kid Ink has over 25 Million hits on YouTube with lyrical gems like, "Tat It Up" "La La La," and "Keep It Rollin'."
Having produced for multi-platinum artists such as Sean “Diddy” Combs and Sean Kingston, making his own music was the next clear step for Kid Ink. Just a few short years ago, Kid Ink picked up the mic and a new contender in the Hip-Hop game was born.
2010 was a well-earned breakthrough year for Kid Ink. Teaming up with world-renowned DJ ill Will, Kid Ink became more focused on his music and began working on the underground hit, “Crash Landing Mixtape”. His hard work paid off and the music industry began to take notice. Within 10 days of its release, “Crash Landing” received huge critical acclaim and amassed an astonishing 50 thousand downloads.
Since “Crash Landing’s” debut, Kid Ink has toured in Los Angeles, Minneapolis, Denver, Kansas City and Buffalo; and internationally in Toronto, Canada, Zurich, Switzerland, Melbourne, Australia and Krasnador, Russia.
2011 continued to be phenomenal for the young MC. His sophomore album “Daydreamer” (free to the public) was released on June 21st via the internet and accumulated over 150, 000 downloads in its first week. Following this he released "Wheels Up," yet another all original Mixtape on October 10th to a phenomenal response. Since the release of "Wheels Up," Ink has been on a mini "Wheels Up" tour, performing to packed crowds of 600-2,000.
