‘DYS’ is signature J Hus, encompassing all the elements that we have grown to love about him over the years. His ‘feel good’ wave across a signature JAE5 production, gives us the perfect taster of what’s to come for his debut album later this year.

Did You See is a track where me and JAE5 just had fun’ recalls J Hus.

This follows last years release of the ‘Playing Sports’ EP including title track, ‘Free Up

and ‘Clean It Up’ which Hus decided to drop on his sound cloud account. And who can forget the release of ‘Friendly’, originally leaked online, the track was accompanied by a typically entertaining visual from Hus coining his popular term ‘Fanta with no ice’ which went on to become a viral sensation.

Nominated for Best Newcomer at The MOBO Awards in 2015, and included on the long-list for the 2016 BBC Sound Poll, Hus is back and ready to make his mark. His ‘The 15th Day’ mixtape, which dropped back in 2015 alongside smash single ‘Lean & Bop’, highlights his ebullient blend of Dancehall, Afrobeat, Grime and R&B, winning acclaim from The Guardian, Fader, Noisey, Complex and i-D, and clocking over a million plays in its first month. Securing a deal with Black Butter, known as the incubator of talent of everyone[INCOMPATIBLE CHARACTER]from Rudimental to Jess Glynne and MNEK, Hus ended 2015 featuring on Tinie Tempah’s Junk Food mixtape. He graced Katy B’s album last year as well as making a guest appearance on the BrOTHERHOOD movie soundtrack. To kick things off in 2017, Hus has featured on Dave’s single ‘Samantha’, on 'High Roller' the lead single from Nines' debut album and on Stormzy's recent debut album (Gang Signs & Prayer) on the track ‘Bad Boys’ alongside Ghetts.
